HBD Claire and Lindsey!

We got together for a casual birthday celebration for Claire and Lindsey last night at Woodshed. For those of you that haven't been yet, their food is amazing. It's Tim Love's new restaurant right on the Trinity river and its has a great atmosphere. Pat Green was also at the table next to us which was a nice bonus! Happy Friday all! Oh and I chopped my hair off. So there's that.

Hoppy Easter!

Harper just loved Easter! Seriously, it was better than Christmas even! She loved the basket and the candy and even all the socks that I stuffed in those colorful plastic eggs. We had such a wonderful Easter weekend. My mom came in town to celebrate and it was nice to relax as a family. On Saturday, I took my mom to Rise. I had never been there before but it was wonderful. My mom loves souffles so I thought it would be a nice treat to take her for a fun brunch. We had a great afternoon and ate way too much. We enjoyed the beautiful weather all weekend and had a great weekend! Below are some pictures of Harper this Easter.

Sabrina, of Sabrina Gebhardt Photography, took some precious pictures of Harper two weekends ago. It was crazy windy at the botanical gardens and Harper had just woken up from a nap, but she tried really hard and managed to smile for the camera...and for the sweettarts that Sabrina had handy ;)

Harper is 2!

Harper turned TWO March 16th. I can't believe she is so grown up. We hosted a fun farm themed birthday party for family and friends to celebrate. Seeing the kids play with the petting zoo was hilarious and I think everyone had a really good time, especially Harper.

Whoops!

We have a bit of an addiction to Little Bear. Personally, I prefer Yo Gabba Gabba. Much more entertaining, however, Harper LOVES Little Bear. This picture documents the fit that was thrown when I turned off the tv last night. "I want Bear...I want Bear..." over and over again. We may have a problem here.
