Little St. Patrick/Patricia

My how things can change in a month! Our baby finally resembles a baby and it is so amazing. We had our 12 Week appt with Dr. Wiley this morning and were able to finally make out little fingers, eyes and even a profile of a nose. The heartbeat was still very strong and it was great and refreshing to see and hear again. The baby was sleeping when we began but we tried to wake it up several times. Finally, when we were about to call it a day and give up, the baby stretched and started bouncing around in the womb. It was so crazy to see how active it is and so strange that I cannot feel a thing.
This picture doesn't really do it justice, we were able to see a much clearer depiction earlier but this will give you a glimpse of what is to come! Thank you all for surrounding us with love and support the last couple of months. This will be one lucky baby to have all of you in it's life.

Disclaimer: Not actually naming the baby Patrick or Patricia.

Sorry!

I'm so sorry about my absence. I have no excuses to offer. I will do my best to recap the last few weeks. Things are going great in Rucker Land. Still feeling great and not having any problems! I go back to the doctor on Monday so I am hoping for another Ultrasound. I am really anxious to see the changes in the last month.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Joe T's to celebrate Preston's Birthday! Emily picked up some amazing cupcakes from somewhere in Dallas, wish I could remember the name. Here are some pics of the evening. Disclaimer, I know I look disgusting but I had to post the cute pic of Michele and Linds so I selflessly put it out there. Enjoy!

This is my surprised face. YUM

The next weekend, it was time to celebrate Russell's Birthday at Mattitos in DALLAS! The food was great but I felt a little out of place. It's amazing how different people dress to go out in DALLAS! vs Fort Worth. I mean, I felt pretty dressed up but these girls really know how to take it to another level. Our friends stuck together and enjoyed the fine mexican food and queso!
Haddy, Linds and Michele (Lindsay wore the hat the remainder of the night in order to get free drinks at the bar, genius!)

Russell pretending that I have a baby bump of some sort.

In other news, Clark and I will be celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary next week. We are going to Mexico with some friends and are both excited about getting away for a long weekend. For our anniversary this year, I had our wedding video re-edited by Mason Jar Films.

Our original wedding video was ok, but it wasn't what I was looking for and the quality of the footage wasn't what I was expecting but Chris and his team were able to make it into something great. I told Clark last night that we were going to watch the Godfather and when he turned the TV on, our video started. He was so surprised and it was great to see everything again and all of the footage from that day. When you get married, everything is such a blur and you can't possibly see everything so it was great to see some bits of the day that we never experienced before.

Our wedding was a big party, maybe a few people were over served but everyone had a wonderful time and that is what was most important to us. If you want to check out the footage, here is the link: http://vimeo.com/6275496 The password is: Clarbecca

Enjoy!

Baby on Board

Surprise! On or about March 17, 2010, Clark and I are going to become parents! We found out about 5 weeks ago that we are expecting and are absolutely thrilled!

Clark and I went to see Dr. Wiley for our first appointment last Monday, August 3 where I had an ultrasound and was able to see the baby and hear the heartbeat for the first time. Since I have been feeling so well, I haven't really felt pregnant but after hearing the heartbeat, it really became real! Here are pics from the first ultrasound. Clark thinks it looks like a hamster and Lindsay pointed out that it looks like a Dino Nugget. You can be the judge.

When life hands you a block of ice...

Sometimes pictures are worth 1,000 words. I think this is one of those times. These were taken 7/25/09 at the Fort Worth's Most Eligible Bachelor's (FWMEB) house.
